<div><p>Responsibilities</p> <p> Work under the supervision of principal investigation each task assigned (Research project designing/layout, conducting experiments on different sites, data collection, record-keeping, technical and administrative works.</p> <p> Responsible for training/guiding the students working in the department (especially with the principal investigation)</p> <p> Responsible for coordinating with the focal person from each experimental site for experiment updates (including agronomic operation etc.) on regular basis.</p> <p> Frequently traveled to sites (Khanewal, Multan, and Vehari as directed by principal investigation) for data collection and agronomic operation, etc.</p> <p>Skills</p> <p> Sufficient knowledge in the basic techniques of soil and foliar application of silicon as a fertilizer, soil sampling, fruit sampling, leaf sampling, silicon treatment application, packing, transport, and storage of samples.</p> <p> Laboratory works for, Physical Analysis (peel color, textural softness, weight loss), Biochemical Analysis (total soluble solids, ascorbic acid, titratable acidity, total sugars), and digestion of the samples for determination (Ca, Mg, P and K), of Kinnow fruit.</p> <p> Ability to write research articles, present research findings in international conferences.</p> <p> Ability to work independently and interact with multidisciplinary environmentalists and external collaborators and strong problem-solving skills.</p> <p> Ability to guide the students to plan, implement, write and publish their research.</p></div>
